Fort Desoto - March

We are back to Fort Desoto.  This has to be near the top of our list of favorite places.  The sites are large, well separated, and great location.  We have 50 amp service and water hookup, but no sewer, so we have to conserve our water usage.  The wildlife here is just phenomenal.  When the squirrels aren't begging for peanuts, they are raiding our birdfeeders.  We have had a pair of cardinals feeding from a feeder attached to our windshield and looking at themselves in our mirrors.  We had three "St. Pete Parakeets" visit our feeder.  What colorful birds these are.  We have seen and heard them here since we started coming here about 15 years ago, but this is the first time that they have visited our feeder and birdbath.  Our birdbath is so popular that I have to refill it about 3 times a day.  And then there are the Sunsets!!  We get a wonderful display here on this side of the island, as you will see from the photos.  Sorry if these look alike, but the subtle differences are just so entrancing.  I had to cull down a list of many many more that are soooo gorgeous.
