These pictures were taken at the FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association) SEA (South East Area) Rally in Brooksville, Florida. The rally took place at the Hernando County Airport. There were over 1700 motorhomes at the rally. The motorhomes were parked on two runways. On our runway, they were parked 3 across the runway (nose to tail) with an avenue between each row, and stretched 1 mile down the runway. We spent 6 nights here "Dry Camping" with no hookups. We ran the generator 1-2 hours per day to recharge the batteries. We arrived with our waste tanks empty, and about 1/3 in the Fresh water tank. We filled our Fresh water tank when we arrived, and managed our resources carefully. We attended several Seminars, toured some new Coaches, browsed thru the vendor area, and had nightly entertainment. This was our first rally, and we had a wonderful time and met some great new friends. |

The west runway (1 mile of motorhomes) This is looking down the west runway from our motorhome (the first on the left). We were fortunate to be the 8th motorhome in the middle row. We were just a short walk from the main tent, where the nightly entertainment was held.
